Dr Sanjay Kumar Yadav is a Nepalese Liver Transplant & Hepatobiliary Surgeon, currently based at Narayana Superspecilaty Hospital, New Delhi. He has experience of over 10 years in the field of HPB & Liver Transplant Surgery. He had worked as a Consultant Surgeon at Medanta Hospital, New Delhi. He has established Liver Transplant Program at Chitwan Medical Collage, Nepal and his team has done the highest number of Liver Transplant in Nepal. He is known for his expertise in Liver Transplantation and Hepatobiliary surgery. Dr. Soin Liver Transplant team, of which Dr. Yadav was an integral part of a team, performs 20-25 Liver Transplants per month with 95% success results at par with the world’s best elsewhere.
In 2018, he was honored with a special award at the International Liver Transplant Society (ILTS), in Lisbon, Portugal. He has more than 50 national and international publications and presentations on ‘Liver surgery and transplantation’ to his credit, along with noteworthy contributions to the scope of improvement in this field.
He is passionate about Liver Transplantation in adults & children & counts complex hepatobiliary surgeries as his primary interest. He has been very active in the critical management of patients with Decompensated End-stage-liver-disease (ESLD) with a multidisciplinary approach.
